This week's wonderful Wednesday is being written on wonderful Wednesday itself! Normally, Tuesday evenings are spent recalling all those happy, heart fluttering moments but last night, I spent the evening with my family to celebrate my brother's birthday. I did attempt to write when I got home but my brain was a little frazzled.
My alarm clock hasn't gone off yet, obviously my body knows I have an important task to complete. On with the wonderful!
On Friday evening, I was feeling a little restless so G suggested going for a walk. It was absolutely freezing and my eyes took a while to adjust to the darkness but it felt so good.
I want to make more of an effort when it comes to exercise. I'm not a fan of the gym and I am not confident when it comes to running, but walking is something I can do. Instead of driving to town on Saturday, I got up bright and breezy, walked G to work then carried on in to our local town.
I did feel a little smug on the way home, walking past a hefty queue of cars, knowing that I didn't have to endure sitting in traffic! I returned home with a red face, cold hands and a decent looking step count!
It's been a little frosty in the evenings lately but our fluffy blanket has been keeping us extra toasty. If it's really chilly, we pop the blanket inside the bed, between our shivering selves and the duvet, IT IS THE BEST.
I've also been snuggling up on the sofa with said blanket, especially after venturing out in the cold. They really are one of the best things in the world. I want to get my hands on one of the big Teddy Bear Throws, have you felt them? Ahhh, soooo soft.
...in bed. There are some mornings where I can get ready in an hour and there are other mornings where I can get ready in half that time. The latter are the mornings I cherish, for it means that I get to stay nice and snuggly for a little bit longer.
Chatting with bloggers
I say bloggers, I actually mean one blogger in particular (yes Hannah from Suitcase and Sandals, I'm looking at you). Hannah and I recently started talking via twitter and its been so lovely to get to know her a little bit better. It's also very spooky how similar our situations are (our anniversaries are literally a day apart).
In a community full of beauty and fashion bloggers, it can be hard to find someone you relate to. Hannah and all of the wonderful wednesday crew are all relatable to me and that feels fab. If I drank tea, you'd all be my cup.
