WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY #19

I'm currently freezing my bottom off on a park bench to bring you this week's dose of wonderful. I've escaped the office on my lunch break to get some fresh air and give my irritatingly tired legs a bit of a stretch. It's cold, it's grey and a little bit wet but I'm enjoying not eating my lunch amongst four, white walls.

There's been a few other wonderful moments, other than this park bench one right now, shall we delve in?

New Food

By new food, I mean a new place to eat such yummy goodness. I booked Friday and Monday off of work, to give myself lots of time to indulge in birthday chocolate and face the fact that I'm getting old.

G just so happened to be off on Friday too, so after lounging about for a few hours, we hopped in the car and took a little drive to a place called The Cricketers. The food was delicious but I did have really bad food envy because G's pizza looked SO good. We will definitely be returning and I will definitely be opting for a pizza!

Riverdale

UHHH MA GAWD. I am LOVING this show. I wasn't sure about it at first and had to watch the first episode twice but now I am hooked. I'm a little gutted that you can't binge watch it but I guess it's something to look forward to every Friday.

Also, does anyone else just want to be Veronica? Sassy AF.

Making Plans

I received a lovely little message from Kate on Twitter the other day, she is coming home for Easter and wanted to know if we could get together for cake and bookshop perusing. I said yes OBVS. I'm looking forward to finally meeting another member of this wonderful wednesday crew!

Catch Up's

On Monday, myself and my friend Georgie headed to Bill's for a little catch up (and delicious food). I hadn't seen her in ages so it was really nice to finally get together.

Georgie also gave me THE cutest birthday presents ever - a little travel themed passport holder and a copy of Happy by Fearne Cotton. I only had to read the first paragraph to know that it was a book for me. I may even write a post about it...maybe

That's all for this week! Short and sweet (again). I hope the rest of your week is full of lots of lovely little things! If you've already experienced a bucket load of wonderful, why not share them with myself and the rest of the gang* on Twitter? (#wonderfulwednesday).
