Blooming El

It's that time of the week again. The time to look back on the past week and gather all of those wonderful moments. I'm not actually feeling too great, I feel like I have an achey everything at the moment and my head is a little fuzzy. It could be my turn to come down with something. Or it could perhaps be mother nature sending me a little sign that she's on her way...

ANYHO, let's get on with the wonderful shall we?

Designated Survivor

Can I get a YAAAAAAAS? I'm so so so SO happy that this is back on our screens. It was mine and G's favourite television series last year and we couldn't wait for it to come back. It's just so sneaky and dramatic and corrupt, I LOVE IT.

Me Before You

Oh this book, it is lovely and heartbreaking at the same time. It was an easy read and a nice break after months of Harry Potter. I finished it in a week (I did contemplate giving myself a high five) and started The Fifteen Lives of Harry August straight after.

I will read all the books on my bookshelf, I WILL!

A Spring Clean

On Sunday, I helped my Mum clear out our kitchen cupboards and I'm not ashamed to say that I really rather enjoyed myself! We took everything out of the cupboards, chucked away things that were either broken or had never been used, we wiped down and restacked. IT WAS FAB.

The best thing about our little spring clean, other than the fact the kitchen looks absolutely superb, was that I found a steamer. A BLOODY STEAMER. If only I'd known we had one stored at the back of our cupboards...steamed veg - here I come!

I seemed to have had a case of writers block over the past few months. I knew what I want to write about, I knew what I want to say but I just couldn't seem to find the words.

However, on Monday, I finally found those words I had been searching for. I wrote a little piece about grief and although it's short, I'm proud of it. I feel like it's given me a chance to be creative again and opened up that section of my brain that had been closed off for a while.

That's all the wonderfulness I can muster this week but it doesn't have to end here! Share your wonderful moments on Twitter or why not visit the rest of the wonderful wednesday crew* to see what's been making their week extra special?
