Blooming El

I'm back with a Wonderful Wednesday, yay! Let's just skip to the good bit shall we?

Country Music

You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run.

Those lyrics have been in my head since Sunday, when G gave me a Now That's What I Call Country CD as an early Christmas present.

I do love country music and apparently I sang along to all the songs on the CD's advert which sent G's brain bing, bing, binging.

A day with G

Finally, G had a Saturday off and it was BLISS. We went out for breakfast and finished our Christmas shopping.

Then we returned home, stuck Love Actually on and wrapped all of our presents. I'm hoping we can do something similar next year and make a little tradition out of it because I rather enjoyed our day together!

Jacket Potato

With sprinkles of cheese and a dollop of coleslaw, the perfect little lunchtime dish to warm me up in our very cold office.

Christmas Lights

The one thing I do love about this time of year are all the pretty lights, whether they're on houses, on trees, or in shop windows they just make everything seem magical!

This is probably the best show that my Dad has introduced to me, I CAN'T STOP WATCHING IT. It's not really one you can watch with the parents, it's all sex, drugs, alcohol, and Marci complaining about her periods (I am basically Marci during my time of the month) but it's most definitely one you can binge watch on a Saturday afternoon and that's the best kind of show in my opinion.

Good Food

As I mentioned recently on Instagram, I feel like I've eaten my weight in sausage rolls, fancy biscuits, and chocolates. It seems that Christmas time is one big feast that lasts around one month and whilst all those festive treats taste delicious, my body has been craving some goodness. Thankfully, G made a salad for dinner last night and it was fab. Peppers, carrot, spinach, BEETROOT (my fave), just what I (and my body) needed!

That's all for this week! Don't forget to check out what's been making the rest of the wonder women* happy and if you want to join in yourself, share your #wonderfulwednesday moments with us on Twitter!
