Well thank goodness January is finally coming to an end! I missed out on #wonderfulwednesday last week because I'd been hit by the January blues. I haven't felt very motivated recently and almost gave this week another miss BUT I decided that maybe recognising the good bits, sharing what I'm grateful for and what made those January blues a little easier might do me some good. So here we are, let's get on with the wonderful!

New podcasts 

I've finally caught up with the Wine and Crime podcast, which means I'm down to one episode a week. I wanted to make sure I had enough podcasts to listen to, for when I'm cleaning, going to the gym, walking to town or just lounging around, so I went on a podcast discovery mission! I've started listening to Sam Sparrow's Travelust podcast and I finally got round to listening to Jemma's Getting Into It Pod (which I'd totes love to be a guest on one day *cough* *cough*). 

I'm always after new podcasts to listen to so if you have any recommendations, please send them my way!

Getting back to the gym 

I finally managed to grab myself another gym card after losing my original one (and by I, I mean asked G to get me one when he went). I hadn't been to the gym since before Christmas so going back was hard but I did it and it felt good! I'm looking forward to going more regularly and trying to get in to a little routine. 

Italian Adventure Planning 

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on here but myself and G are off to Pisa, Florence, and Venice in April and I'm SO excited. G took me to Rome for my birthday a few years ago and I didn't fall in love with it like I'd hoped so. Ever since I was little I've had this vision of Italy and how beautiful it would be so we're hoping that our destinations this year will be a little bit more like I'd imagined!

Katy Perry 

I downloaded Katy's Witness album a while back but have only just started listening to it properly. I am in love with Déjà Vu, it puts me in such a good mood on the way to work. 

Vegetable Goodness

I asked G what he wanted for dinner at the weekend and he replied 'um, I think I just fancy a bowl of veg'. This was like music to my ears! I bought two large bowls from The Range and filled them with spinach, carrots, broccoli, sweet potato, and kale - topped with a little salt, pepper, and butter...delish!
