Blooming El

Guys, I don't want to jinx it but I'm pretty sure we're getting rain this weekend, eep! Okay, well that's me done, thank you for reading this week's #wonderfulwednesday.

HA, I jest! Scroll done for some more wonderfulness...

wonderful wednesday blog post

A beautiful sunset

The picture above does not do this sunset justice, it was GORGEOUS. Myself and G were driving home from a little date night and the sunset was magnificent. Driving through country lanes and spotting the orange glow through the trees was wonderful, we pulled over to snap some pictures (for the gram obvs) and take in all its glowing glory.

Shorter work days

Work is pretty quiet at the minute. I work in the education sector so, unless we have a big project on, it's always a little quieter during the summer holidays. It means we haven't needed to spend as much time in the office and have been making our way home a few hours earlier. I'm always grateful for an early finish, it means I can spend more time reading, or getting some household-y type jobs done.

A 'proper' loaf of bread

Every now and then, I like to pick up a fresh loaf of bread. I know it's really bad for you and that you should stick to wholemeal and blah blah blah BUT it's nice to treat yourself every now and then right? You can't beat a thick slice of crusty bread with a generous helping of butter. YUM.

Writing again

I've been feeling a little lost and unmotivated recently and I finally got all my thoughts down on paper in a blog post. I felt really good immediately after and praised writing for being so cathartic. I'm hoping I'll come back to writing a bit more often because it really is good for the soul!

Okay, now I'm REALLY done for this week. Don't forget to check in with the rest of the wonder women* and if you fancy joining in yourself, share your #wonderfulwednesday moments with us on Twitter!
