WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY #85

Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to another instalment of #wonderfulwednesday. I previously mentioned that I was changing these posts from once a week to once every two weeks, which means you get double the wonderfulness (sometimes anyway)!

Circle, share my list of little things from the past two weeks...

Wonderful Wednesday blog post Blooming El

A busy weekend

The weekend before last was jam packed. I got all dolled up on the Friday for a surprise birthday party, spent Saturday with Georgie at a garden centre (where I bought my first house plant - woop!), then on Sunday I had brunch with Christine before heading off to London with Sian.

It was no wonder I spent all of last Saturday lying on the sofa watching television and stuffing my face with Ritz Crackers, I'm not used to so much social interaction.

Seeing Chris in the flesh

By Chris, I mean Christine and the Queens.

Sian and I went to Curzon Cinema in Soho for a Q&A with Chris and Miranda Sawyer. It was funny, inspiring, and involved a lot of interesting discussions around gender and sexuality, especially in the music industry.

I know I keep banging on about it but I can't wait to see her perform in November, eeek!

Being away for a night

Last Wednesday, I went on a little work trip to Norfolk. We had to stop over for the night, as we were exhibiting the following day and had an early rise.

We had dinner, played pool (I was the white ball champion), and enjoyed a full English breakfast the next day.

It was nice to be away for the night and to finally escape my desk and computer screen. It can become quite claustrophobic in our small office so I'm very grateful to have had a change of environment!

The Circle

I saw the advert, thought it looked like crap. Saw a load of Twitter posts about it, didn't want to get involved. Then on Saturday, when I was having a lazy 'at home' day, I saw another Twitter post about it and thought 'ahh fuck it, let's give it a go'.

The Circle is as I expected - a trashy reality show - but I LOVE it. Kate *wink wink* is my fave and I really hope she stays in till the end.

A funny car journey

I picked up my brother from Suffolk on Friday, as he's staying at home for the week. It was the first time he'd been in my new car and he took full advantage of the Google assistant, well he tried to at least. Google wasn't recognising his voice or the majority of the songs he wanted playing and I found it pretty funny.

I *think* I'm all done! As always, don't forget to check out the rest of the wonder women* to see what's made their week's wonderful. If you fancy joining in yourself, share your #wonderfulwednesday moments with us on Twitter!
